Fundraising
Philanthropy has always been at the heart of the Girls’ Day School Trust. When the Trust was formed in 1872 (as the Girls’ Public Day School Company), the founders aimed to raise capital of £12,000 for the first school buildings. Eight hundred £5 shares were taken up immediately by the Trust’s first generous donors, and our fundraising work continues to this day. Several schools have established an Annual Fund, and a burgeoning Legacy programme builds on a history of kind bequests.
The pages below give more information on the difference your donation makes to your school, and the many easy ways to give. And if you have any questions, we’re always happy to hear from you. Just email us or call the Development Office on 020 7393 6669.
