Year 13 Norwich High School for Girls pupil Jenny Dell has just learnt that she is one of only six candidates nationally to successfully secure a place on the prestigious HSBC internship programme.  The placement will commence in London soon after she finishes her ‘A’ level exams in July.

Jenny, Head Girl at the Newmarket Road school, will work for the bank for three months, gaining valuable insights and a significant fiscal stimulus to her Gap Year plans!

“We are extremely proud of Jenny”, commented Head of Economics at the school, Mr Tom White.  “Only a handful of placements are available nationally, so we’re really pleased for Jenny and proud of the series of successes the school has had in helping our students on to the programme in recent years.”

“I am really looking forward to starting on the programme”, commented Jenny Dell.  “It will be an exciting and challenging few months – a great introduction to the financial services industry as well as to life and work in London.”
