The Bromley Area Final for companies in the Young Enterprise scheme was held at Bromley High school on Thursday 30th April. A number of Young Enterprise groups from schools across the Borough were in competition to find the best companies in Bromley.

Standards were very high but the judges decided that ‘Hera’ a company made up of girls from Newstead Woods and Bullers Wood schools had the most innovative product with their Credit Crunch Cook Book. Hera was also judged to be the Best Company.

The Runner- up company was ‘Optimus’ comprising students from Bromley High School and Ravens Wood School. They designed and sold personalised hoodies and T-shirts as well as organising a disco at Ravens Wood School.

‘Hera’ and ‘Optimus’ now go forward to the next round of the Young Enterprise competition, the South London Finals, to be held in Croydon on Friday 8th May.
